You may have heard about this new government-backed initiative which aims to enable individuals to access their pension information online, securely and all in one place.

If you are not yet taking your benefits, the dashboards could help you plan for your retirement as they can:

• Find pensions that you hold from previous jobs,
• Reconnect you with any lost pension pots,
• Show you what your estimated income in retirement might be (including from your State pension).

All larger workplace pension schemes and private pension providers are required to participate. It is expected that dashboards will be available in late 2026 (although this date is yet to be confirmed).
